The Civil Society Health Partnership (CSHP) is an organization established to coordinate, manage and monitor the activities of non-faith based civil society, NGOs and other stakeholders operating in the Health sector.
Our mandate is to coordinate and monitor the activities of CSOs, NGOs and other stakeholders in the health sector by mapping their activities to prevent duplication in functional or areas of operation.
CSHP focuses on non-faith based organizations whose membership includes CSOs, Local and international NGOs, Private Health Facilities, Diagnostic centers, Health Training Institutions and Pharmaceutical and Medical supply chains and service organizations.

How we support health organizations in Zambia
We coordinate non-faith based CSOs and NGOs operating in the health sector to prevent duplication of efforts and maximize impact.
We map and geocode all activities of CSOs and organizations operating in the health space for accountability and impact monitoring.
We provide training and capacity building for CSOs, NGOs and other health service providers to enhance healthcare delivery.
We administer the Civil Society Trust Fund that finances CSOs, NGOs and stakeholders operating in Zambian health spaces.
Our agreement with the Ministry of Health
To coordinate CSOs and NGOs operating in the health sector in Zambia - both local and international. The scope of membership is drawn from civil society and Non-Governmental organisations, Private Clinics, Hospitals, Private Health Training Institutions, Private Pharmacies, Laboratories and Pharmaceutical Companies.
The Ministry of Health recognizes the Civil Society Health Partnership as a lead NGO/CSO in health representing the non-faith-based organizations on the troika of the Ministry of Health.
CSHP implements programs including training of Health Care Givers, Volunteers, Training in Geriatrics and support for infrastructure of home based care for the aged with Chronic illnesses among others. Operations are guided by the National Health Strategic Plan 2022 to 2026.
The steering committee members comprise of representatives from Ministry of Health, Cooperating partners, Civil Society Health Partnership, International and Local NGOs respectively.
This MOU shall remain in effect for a period of 6 years after commencement, unless otherwise extended or terminated earlier according to the MOU provisions.
Through coordinated efforts and strategic partnerships, CSHP has been able to reach underserved populations and improve healthcare delivery across Zambia.
Our geo-mapping initiative ensures that resources are allocated efficiently and services reach the communities that need them most.
